What I teach and where

I am a textile artist based in Hove, East Sussex.

I teach patchwork, quilting, embroidery, origami and other paper/fibre techniques

My own work is very eclectic in style an influence , you can read more about it on my blog faithfullfibres.wordpress.com (will link asap)

I am currently teaching at PACA – Portslade Academy at Foredown Tower on Tuesday mornings. I hope to resume my home classes when my new house’s studio is functional and will expand this page when I’m able to offer specialist classes again

New classes & upcoming shows

After a hiatus of a year due to loads of family crisis’ (see faithfullfibres.wordpress.com *(*I will add links when I can) my home class didn’t run during 2014.

I did however have a brilliant time as a guest artist at the West Country Quilt * show , which I’ll write about with photos when I can.

I’m due at the ICHF Stitching Sewing & Hobbycrafts *  show

at Event City in Manchester 6-8 February

and Excel in London 27 – 29 March

and The Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham In August

Back home in Brighton & Hove I am now teaching a beginners quilting class at PACA – Portslade Academy Adult Education’s Foredown Tower centre which also hosts a Camera Obscura, on Tuesdays 10 – 12, for two terms, there is currently one place available on the course.

We hope to re-establish the accredited course in September and run a full year beginners course too. There are also ‘Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine’ courses in February and June. Please google the college for info & I’ll add a link when I can get it to work!

I hope to establish more specialist home classes later in the year but my new studio isn’t likely to be properly sorted out for a month or so!

Please sign up for updates & alerts for when I do get them going
